Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated

My web host let my domain registration expire w/o sending a little thing called a renewal notice ... needless to say, I was none too pleased ... especially since I thought I had paid for 10 years (only 5 of which have transpired so far) .... we are still sorting things out.
