"Some information about Wiz 1-3 for Gameboy Color"

Hello, I'm new here.

I'm a Wizardry fan (though I didn't finish any one of them :p) in Taiwan. I found this forum while searching for anything about Wiz8 on the Web.

I've noticed that some of you are interested in Wizardry 1-3 for Gameboy Color, which made by ASCII. I think that I can provide some more details since I know a little Japanese.

The official site of this game is http://www.ascii.co.jp/et/software/consumer/nintendo/wiz123/wiz123.html (and http://www.ascii.co.jp/et/software/consumer/nintendo/wiz123/detail.html for details).

This version is modified base on NES version(almost original version), but have the following changes:

1. The dungeon size is reduced to 16x16(each floor).
2. New floors and events are added.
3. New items and monsters are added.
4. It is possible to break and save during battles.
5. You can have 3 different save files for each of them.
6. You can transfer your party between them.
7. Auto-mapping (costs one DUMAPIC each time) is added.
8. When a character's EXP reaches the new level, it will be marked in the status bar.

Well, because of the first 2 changes, I don't know how can they still call them "Wizardry I, II, III".

The publishing date will be Feb.23, 2001. For GBC only (Color is required). Price is 4,500 Yen (about $45) for each of the three.

Mail me or follow this post if you have any question. I'd like to help as long as I can.
