"And going way off topic - old car identification"

Well, we've had this "32 Chevy coupe" in the family for about 30 years. My Dad had it for about 20 years and did next to nothing with it, until giving it to me.

I have carried on the family tradition of letting it sit for about 10 years. I was talking to a neighbor who has a '31 Ford to see if he knew anyone I could pawn it off on, er, I mean, anyone that would be interested in it (it's just a the coupe body precariously attached to a '55 Buick frame).

Turns out he knew a guy with a '30-something Chevy sedan that wanted a coupe - Bingo! Well, the guy shows up (in his nicely restored auto) and checks out out heirloom - the "32 Chevy".

Well, he says:
1. It's not a Chevy - looks more like a Dodge
2. I don't think it's a '32 - more like a '28 or '29

And after scouring the Internet this morning, I have to agree with him.

So, any experts out there that can identify these old relics or know anyone who can?

Here is a to a <|pic> of the mystery mobile

(p.s. If you notice the link to the pic says 33 chevy, that is because I could never remeber if my Dad had said it was a "32 Chevy" or "33 Chevy")

is "into" this period of cars. I'll try to forward this information to him and see what he says. (This may take a little while. I'm not sure if he has internet access or e-mail.)
