One of my first posts to the W8 board (many years and several boards ago) was testing the interest in a Wizardry newsgroup. Well, nobody was too thrilled, so I let the matter drop, but recently I've been hearing whispered rumors that one has existed all along, called alt.rpg.wizardry. Now, my server doesn't get such a group, but I was wondering if anyone else had access to it, and if so what service they were using.

I have been scanning newsgroups for a few years and have never seen that. But I just searched for it to check for you. I also did a "search engine" search as well...no such animal exists.

It definetly exists (check deja.com) -- but it seems to have been founded rather recently, and I was wondering what servers had picked it up -- for now if you're interested you can always check it from deja.com

Hmm...according to the FAQ, it would appear that the newsgroup was created in August.

hmmm...it is new and most of the info we get, is from here. I think that I will stick with this place better. You all are like family and newsgroups tend to be rude...
