"Miss little ole me..."

I am back, did anyone miss me??

Let's see, my ISP fried my old modem and then corrupted a few files in Windows (still trying to fix that). I have to re-format (again) and ICQ is working, but for how long. And somewhere in that mess, I went on vacation for Christmas and New Years.

Let's see...what have I missed? I read through most of the messages, but after awhile my eyes hurt, so I just "marked all" messages and decide to play it by ear.

Hey Llevram, is that deal we discussed...still an available option? I want to test it, before I go buy it.

Of course we missed you (whichever you you happened to be that day) and trying to determine which you you were going to discover next, all of which reflect your playful queries and responses on the board, and if you were going to be one of the characters in my party which one would you be, and would I ever be able to control you. I fear not..you would have to be an NPC and stay only as you will. Glad you are back, and we can all wait with bated breath for wiz 8 and play w&w hopefully but somewhat sadly.
The game falls short, and I don't know enough about gaming design to even guess why. I see a beginning of something really clever and then something gets in the way, and you spend your time trying to figure out how to jump up or out or something. Knowing what to do is too easy, figuring out the way to perform some simple act is a nightmare, where you wake up and then keep falling back into the same damn dream. So we shall all wait together for 8! Joan
