I just have to ask you all a question regarding Master of Orion II. Promise, this is going to be the last post from me regarding it.

Is this just me or are Plasma Cannons the ultimate weapons in the game? O.k., they don't blow up planets, but with them you kick the Guardian's ass at Orion and the Antarans are no match for you anymore either. If you keep upgrading your targeting computers and maybe get the structural analyser, you'll never have any problems throughout the game.
Or is there a better weapon in the opinion of anyone of you??

I always tell myself to try a different weapon system next time, but I always end up using plasma...
