"Wizardry 6 Novel!"

Hi!

I just finished the final pages on my Wizardry 6 novel. Better yet, it's online and ready to be viewed!

If you're interested, please come on over to:

http://www.geocities.com/grieversnr/story.html

And have a read. That link is the copyright, don't steal, Sir-tech's property, blah blah blah thing, so once that mess is out of the way, you'll be in The Nexus.

At the Nexus, you choose which character's story you wish to read, and follow it to the end. You can then choose another character when you're finished, (or if you lose interest, hehe), to read another perspective of the story.

The premise behind this story is that six people, all with different motives, come to the castle for personal reasons. Some for the Cosmic Forge, some for others.

What makes this story different from other fantasy / sci-fi novels, is I tried to make the story a little less oriented on events, and more on characters. As you will see, each of the characters has something they are struggling with, which is only made worse by the situation raging around them involving magic pens, demons and so on.

As the characters suffer they grow, and their paths cross, and even join together, in different ways as the story continues.

So please, if you have the time, have a read and let me know what you think!

Nice story, read up Lucciana's path a little.
Two formal things you might want to consider: Long lines make reading harder and less convenient. Though one can resize the window to make the lines shorter, a look at some news sites might give you an idea about what line length is considered to be reader friendly.
Also, lots of paragraphs interrupt reading, so I'd just make a new isolated paragraph if locations or characters change.

Hey, thanks for the comments. Lucciana tends to be a fan favorite, I've noticed!

I agree wholeheartedly that the lines are way too long. I'll see if I can learn more HTML to shorten them up. Even I leave the embedded Geocities ad open when I'm proofreading because it shortens the width of the page.

As for the paragraphs, I noticed that too. I thought in the beginning that it would be more conducive to reading in book format if the story ever got published (fingers crossed), but who knows? It's a love/hate kind of thing on a web site.

Thank you again!
