"Divide Overflow in XP"

Posted by HBK21SFP (Guest) on Mar-28-04 at 06:27 AM
I have 2 scenarios, one works the other does not. Both were installed from the UWA cd.

I have a 2.8 GHz laptop with XP Professional.
On this machine, Bane works fine.

I have a 3.0 GHz laptop with XP Media Center.
One this machine, I receive divide overflow error when I try and run bane.bat

Has anyone else found a resolution for this divide overflow issue? I don't want to go into Setup and disable the processor speed.
Are there some settings in my shortcut that if changed would help with this?

Thanks,
HBK21SFP

I don't know if these links are of any help - haven't tried for myself. But they sure sound like solving exactly that problem... cheers

Are you running it in XP, or DOSBox? I never could get Bane or Crusaders to work until I started using DB. I still can't get 7 to work either, but 6 works perfectly.
