Saw it last night at the 10:45 p.m. showing ... very good, very emotional. I liked the first one a little better, because it seemed to be less "hollywood". I thought this one was great, as was the first, but this one felt like they added a lot of humor that I just don't recall from the books. And just a little too much showboating, in one scene where "Legolas slides down stairs on a shield, firing arrows ... too "disney tarzan" for my taste". But for 3 hours of great movie, I can take one or two scenes that are less than perfect .
