"Wizardry I Scenario Disk Editor/Char Editor?"

Does anyone know if there ever was a Scenario Disk editor and/or a char editor for the C64 ver. of Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord?

Gosh, golly gee, I sure would love to have one, yes!

Mine might work .. from what I saw, the PC version and the Apple version were the same layout/format ... I have had people email me their Apple versions and have edited them, sent them back and they work just fine.

So, if you can get it from the C64 version onto a PC and back ...

Hmm, not exactly. I cannot run like .EXE files for DOS on a C64 emu.

Maybe someone knows of one? OR if they're proficient at C64 programming, perhaps they can actually make one?

Please help!

I wasn't talking about runnign anything on the C64 ... basically I am saying that if you can find a way to send me your saved game file, I can edit it, and send it back.

Yeah? Okay. Here's the whole game of Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord (C64 ver.), along with the complete docs in .PDFs and some screenshots.

My Scenario Disk that I play my game from and that contains my all of my chars, including the one that needs editing, is in the 'disks' folder, filenamed 'Wizardry Scenario Disk #WS6079-1.D64', and the char is named "Michael".

Remember: I just need either the password on Michael removed, OR that char deleted, no less, no more, please. And please, please, PLEASE don't otherwise edit any of the chars, especially the other chars in any way whatsoever, PLEASE!

If you can do like in the above previous paragraph, I will be eternally grateful!

Thanks, man!

Uh, new update on that! No need to work any further on it--the problem is now fixed, thanks to an ultra-cool dude @ the CSDb's Forums! http://csdb.dk/forums/?roomid=9&topicid=99898

But of course one can still get the C64 ver. of the game and Extras I added* at the link I provided in my previous post hehehehe Although I went ahead and removed my personal Scenario Disk from the .ZIP archive hehehe

Thanks, folks! Now I'm going to continue through the "maze" of the Proving Grounds, thinking that maybe the Mad Overlord should do a little better when trying to stop the advancement of my Party hehehehehe Thanks again, folks hehe

*Can't guarantee that link will be good for like forever, but give it a try at anytime--the game may likely still be hosted by me via Dropbox at that URL for time-indeterminate hehe

Glad it worked out for you .. my editor doesn't delete characters, as far as I recall ... it is really just for editing wheat they have.
