"Wizardry8 G400"

When I start the game with D3D i can't read the text and the graphics in the charakter windows arn't very nice to look at. If I run the game with the software rendering function all looks fine.

What is the problem with my G400? I have the newest DirectX 7.0a Drivers.

Please help.

Greeting Nahando.

I found (with my Voodoo 3 3000) that evrything looked better in software mode (and since it always crashed in hardware mode, as has nearly every other 3D accelerated game I have tried) I used software mode.

If you mean the animated character picture in the upper left corner, that will look bad (unless - I hear - you run at 1024 x 768, I guess the resolution those pix were made for).

What a G400 is .... I dunno?

Thanks for your answer! My G400 is the Matrox G400 graphic card.

Do you know an URL where I can find a walkthrough for the game or any tips and hints?

Greetings Nahando
