Wizardry Gold download can now be found. But if I click the exe file I get this error message.

Can't find WIN32DLL

I guess it appears because the program isn't properly installed. Is there any way around it?

Probably copy the win32dll file from the windows or windows/system directory, to the directory that wizgold runs from ...

Sounds like it might not be a legally free copy ... or it should work right, huh :-?

Well... the real game cannot be found anymore and so I had to try a download I found. No luck in finding the win32dll so far, though.

It's always around. ;) Just remember, while it may be OOP, suggesting the use of pirated software in a public forum can still cause certain undesirable type companies to close the forum down. I've seen it happen.

I hope you get it running nonetheless, maybe buying the game and installing it from the real disc might help, however, since I assume you got an .iso (or other CD Image file), it should be in the downloaded software and have been properly installed. I find that several things cost software to install poorly, such as having a local-disk designation other than C: or installing from a drive other than D: (if it's a CD).

Thanks for the advice. I see it now.
