"another one having problems running wizardry 7"

Hello everybody ! I hope I will be clear, because, being French, I don't speak English very well, but I will do my possible.
I'm sure that someone already had the same problem as me, and that someone has already answered him on this forum, but I recently found Wizardry 7 and can't manage to have it working : there is no sound, it is slow, and it crashes at the first encounter. My computer has a Sound Blaster AWE64 Sound Card, a 3dfx Voodoo3 graphic card and a Intel Celeron 374 MHz processor, running on Windows XP.
I tried every patch I found, but none of them changes anything, and I'm a bit lost in everything I read in this forum (I can tell you I really tried before posting this), because of my lack of knowledge in the English informatical language, and even simply in computers.
So, I will be VERY grateful if someone could help the ignorant I am. Good bye !

Let's start with exactly what vversion of Wizardry 7 are you using? There are two main ones, the DOS version called just Crusaders of the Dark Savant. And a Windows version usually referred to as Wizardry 7 Gold. Then we can go from there.

It's the first, Crusaders (I wasn't expecting such a quick answer, thank you).

This makes things harder, I do not believe you computer will be able to run CoDS satisfactorly. But you should try it. Do a google search for DosBox, try it and see.

I don't know why, I couldn't post for a long time.
Anyway I found DosBOX but the address when I start it begins with "Z" instead of "D". In the ReadMe they tell me to "mount", but I don't understand what it means in computer language.
