I mentioned Eschalon Book I on this forum a while ago.

While it is single character isometric view game it is turn-based and I really like it. With the ability to pick any combination of skills you want however it does offer some good replayability.

Anyway Book II came out a while ago and the maker of the game is up to version 1.05 (or something) so most of the bugs have been fixed by now as well .
