Has anyone checked out The Dark Spire for the Nintendo DS?

It's done in the same style as Wizardry 1-5, including a "Retro" mode which makes the dungeon wire-frame. It's like booting up Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord again.

Well, almost... Party size is reduced down to four, instead of six. Instead of a Good / Evil axis there's a Lawful / Chaotic axis instead. The way levels are gained is slightly different.

All in all though, a solid game! Check it out!

(Really, even the basic storyline is the same.. A madly powerful wizard has stolen the magical necklace a power crazed King gave his Queen. It's not so much homage as a re-imagining of Wizardry 1, imo at least.)
