Can a npc die when you release them as they make their way back to their favorite spot? I've lost Vi Domina for some reason after releasing her in swamp. She didn't die in a fight in front of me, because I would've seen that.

Other than going back to Heli's, I think I heard about a bug where she gets caught in a statue or fountain (something). I think that a properly patched version would take care of the latter.
