Might be simply that a lot of us are on vacation so no internet.

I have done Lanas first mode 4d and now I am using her new mod 1.1. It is fun. I will be tring Deathstalkers mod some time in November.

Someone mentioned a "switcher" program that will rearrange the directories, allowing you to switch easily between mods. I will wait a few months before I try it.

I installed her 1.1 mod last week. Only found 2 minor problems so far. If anything, the new items are too good. I may fiddle with them this weekend (with MadGod's editor) to tone it down a little.

HELLO Hello hello ...

IS ANYONE HERE Here here ...

Lana's latest mod works well. Several "old" monsters have been duplicated with brand-new skins. Mooks have become apes and Brombadeg has risen. Only Brombadeg never attacks if you approach the shipwreck from the Nessie side. 400,000 free points and lots of bow practice. It looks like all the professions get a complete coordinated set of armor, so visiting Ferro is no longer a requirement.

Mad God's editor works as far as I've tested it. I changed the laser spear to primary-secondary and wand/staff, so my FN can use two and build wand/staff skill for the cane corpus. I also have glowstones scattered around the swamp, so I can find my way in the dark.

I am new here and I have yet to end the game but is there is a site that host and review the mods for this kick ass RPG?

There are two major mods - Lana's and Deathstalkers. Lana has focused on items and added some new monsters, frendlies and spells. Deathstalker turned up the volume on the monsters and rewrote the spells. I haven't tried his mod, but you should install Wiz 8 in two separate directories if you want to run both.

There is also a simple mod that works with the others. I forget who created it, but it turns the xray and formation compasses transparent. Be sure to turn off the text-box frame or the mouse pointer will act strange when you drag it across the xray compass.

The Transparent Compass mod was made by W4st.

Refer to the link below for a web site which hosts all known Wiz8 mods (under the 'Downloads' section).

Visit http://www.foerster.cc/wolfie or http://wiz8.web1000.com/ (US) for a spreadsheet that allows you to enter in your spellcaster's stats, and it will tell you what spells the character can learn, or for spells that they are not yet able to learn, it will tell you how many points they need, or why your character can't learn the spell.
