"Empire" must have gone over budget. I was watching it July 19th (last night) when some Roman enters a room. The creaking-door-opening sound sounded so much like the one in Wiz 8, I was paying complete attention when the door closed and ker-chinked exactly like the Wiz 8 door-closing sound.

There are a lot of standard sound effects in Hollywood. Could be that Sir-Tech bought a pachage rather than trying to make their oen from scratch.

Yes, there are "sound effects" CDs available, if you have a good ear and memory for sound effects, you will often hear the same sound effects pop up from time to time!
