I've not yet played with Flamestryke's mods - what party will get the best use out of all the new stuff?

She has added so much stuff for so many races/classes ... any party will benefit. Pick one at random and plan on running two more after you scout things out.

Run Detect Secrets constantly - she has added stuff to the landscape.

Try running a gnome samurai with shield skill. Beautiful armor too.

Fairies get some useable armor early in the game.

Bishops and other specialist spellcasters get nice sticks.

Gadgeteers can build something nice in the Monastery.

Bards get a useful horn very early.

Throwers/slingers don't need to carry tons of ammo anymore.

I'm really enjoying the mod so far.

I didn't know I should have taken a gnome samurai. I have also found some nice armor for a rogue that I can't use. I guess that's just a reason to play the mod again. lol.

I'm playing the mod currently with:
Dracon Sammy Male
Lizzy Fighter Male
Hobbit Gadgy Female
Felpurr Bard Female
Faerie Psionic Male
Elf Bishop Female

It's nice to have a bishop with a weapon that can actually help in a fight. Still trying to figure out what to do with some of the new gadgy stuff I found. Liking the different graphics too. If for no other reason that it's a change.

OK, thanks for the advice. I've also had a look on the other boards, and think I'll try:

Dwarf Lord
Felpurr Ninja
Gnome Sammy
Hobbit Bard
Elf Bishop
Human Gadgie

I'll get Det. Secrets as the pick for the Bishop to keep an eye out for new stuff. Is there groovy new stuff everywhere? i.e. which areas can I avoid traipsing over the whole map?

Also, I know RFS has a new item, but is there anything specific for other NPCs that means I should pick them up?

Finish the Lower Monastery first, then re-visit it with Detect Secrets. "An eye out", you don't know how right you are.
