Hopefully, this is the correct forum for my question.
I'm still in the early stages of Gold, but plan to bring my party to 8 when all is said and done. My question: is there any way for a transferred party to get an omnigun (without having to hire an rpc)? My assumption is that you can't, which makes a gadgeteer no fun at all. Can you verify this?

A gadgeteer's first job is to build his omnigun. Just convert someone to gadgeteer, the gun should appear.

Even if you got one (yes there is a way) you must be a gadgeteer to USE it.
