LAST EDITED ON Jun-27-04 AT 11:36 AM (Pacific)Get an alchemist, start mixing potions. Once you can make heavy heals, you'll never have to worry about money again. I believe it's Light+Mod.=Hvy
And anyone who has the alchemist skill can do it. It just has to be at a certain level before it works for that potion combination.

Any character with the Alchemy skill can mix potions. You mix (merge) two potions together, and sell the resulting potion for more than the cost of the two originating potions.Spoiler Warning, the information below gives explict information on what to mix and skill levels required, some players may not wish to view this.
Below is a table, each line has Alchemy Skill Level required, Item 1 (buy cost) + Item 2 (buy cost) = Result (sell price), profit/loss (prices shown are at the highest buy/sell price, this varies depending on the highest available Communications skill).

Also, to maximize your buy to sell ratio, always buy the low end stuff and mix your way up. Buy Lt. Heals and Mod. Heals to make the Heavy Heals instead of buying the Heavy Heals up front.Same goes for Cure Disease. Buy Cure Lesser Condition and mix with the Heavy Heals to create the Cure Disease instead of buying them. Then use those Cure Disease potions with more Heavy Heals to create the Renewal Potions.
You'll get a higher profit margin this way and more chances for Alchemy skill increases. Increase skill chances even more by mixing the stuff one at a time instead of stacks of 5.

Yeah, only Flash Powders tend to be in short supply. Renewal Potions are the key to quick money making, especially if you can (as has already been stated above) get the base components, so...2x Light Heal (2x100)+ 2x Mod Heal (2x250) + Cure Light Condition (200) = 900, Renewals sell for up to 5000, so you can make +4100 profit each!!! Watch your Alchemy sky-rocket upwards (mind you this can be a problem with Bishops or profession-changed spellcasters, so use with causion if you are doing this "trick" with one of those).
