I am stuck. I lost a bard picking up the stone idol at marten's bluff. I can't determine the riddle to the Templar Initiation: 1st phase. What do I do?

It has been a while, so I don't recall which order the three answers some in. I think the first one is (highlight remainder for answer): skin

To get your bard back, you have a few clues: the idol (inspect it) and some blue flowers left at the kidnap scene. Where else (in the swamp) can you find those flowers?
