"2 Questions"

A) I know that in Wizardry Gold (7), an easy way to gain exp. was to camp in the umpani HQ and rest and then attack the generated guards that always guarded the doorways. They were all susceptable to blinding flash and could easily be taken out, gaining between 70-160k exp for all party members. Similarly, if you beat up on a race in Wiz8, be it umpani, trang, mook, or rapax, is there anyway to reverse the damage after its been done. i.e., you beat up on them until you've leveled up a WHOLE lot, say like in the Mt. Gigas caves or something, can you ever become friendly with the umpani again? And would this relationship deter one from finishing the game?

B) Do you know of any places on the map in Wiz8 that serve as good leveling up areas, where the foes you fight are regular, bring a lot of exp. to the table, and are susceptable to certain tactics so that the can be defeated easily?

(my wizgold strat, in case youre interested, was to simply camp there with my party, blind the umpani, and keep hacking away, casting a few high spells to kill all the xeni riders that came along. Then, i would, as soon as my characters reach a level around 10-15, where they stopped leveling up multiple times with most every battle, switch their class. This way, they begin to learn many spells, all the lower level ones for all spell casters, increase personal skills, and most importantly, increase in hp and stamina. So just repeating over and over, you basically can beef up your party, though youve screwed yourself out of good PR with the umpani. This worked so well bc the fights were guarunteed bc the guards at umpani HQ were triggered when you approached the door, and come EVERY time.)

Monsters regenerate while you sleep. Just take a nap on Arnika Road and someone will wake you up. There are plenty of unfriendly people around, you don't need to irritate the nice ones. However, some people have won the game with a "kill everything" strategy.

The best place to gain experience in Wiz 7 is the hall of gorrors or something like that. The maze with lotsa teleporters, close to the end of the game.
It generates all kind of monsters including the *spot* 3mil+ experience. I like especially the demons as they can be banished. Fast fast experience gaining. By this way, my party reached more than level 100 and kicked the butt of the mouse of 99 worlds.

in Wiz 7, just east of the Magic-only-restoring fountain, and gate, is an intersection, where there is a monster generator, whose main products are demons, and the Astral Gate spell comes in handy, as does the fountain, even though you have to go a long way around to it, thanks to an invisible teleporter

At the base of the way down to the water fall by Bela - the Wilderness area. Camp and there for "balling with the big boys" action. NOT a health exercise for lower level teams.

You can also kill Brekek mlutiplytimes but you must after kill always return to Croc and give him the frog leg.
For kill Brekek you gain only about 4800 exp(in 6 person party)
but when you give a Giant Frog Leg to Croc you gain 75000 exp.

I used it a lot especially when I was on 12-14 level and someone in mz party could cast Teleportation spell!!
