i need help with my game, all my characters are on level 7, and i went in tha curio museum in new city, and when my character reached in the wand thingy to get the rebus egg, he got diseased, and now he randomly gets paralyzed, irratated, blinded, frightened, or goes insane. I wanted to know if there was a spell or a potion or scroll that i can buy from belcanzor to cure his disease, or if i should just let him die and sell his things. please reply and help me--thanks alot

If you don't have the spell, Cure Disease, then you should see Father Rulae at the temple in New City. He can cure disease for your character, although he will charge you quite a bit for it.

i went to father rulae's place, and he isn't selling anything that cure's diseases, maybe i need to advance further...is there any one else who has the cure disease potion or scroll, and my last question is who can learn the spell (i have a alchmeist, i psionic, a monk, and a mage all at level 7).

I think the Psionist can learn it, but he will have to wait a while yet. Did you ask Father Rulae about healing the body?

i told father rulae when he asked that i wanted ''healing of the body'' and he asked if i would sacrafice anything, and i said yes, and then he asked if i would sacrafice all or little, and i said all, and he took all my money, so i had to re-start from my last save...i also told father rulae 'spoiler' and he said ''the sun doth shine ????'' something something and he didnt have the 'holy sacrament' for sale. is there anything else i can do?? (my only fighter is the one who is diseased, and i have my psionic, monk, and theif as my first 3 characters)

Then he will go through his talk and when you are done talking, he will let you pass. Then follow the stairs down to the fountain and take a drink.

Tell him, you want healing for the body and sacrifice your money, all of it!
This is the only chance your Fighter has, short of editing.

To prevent you from losing everything go to some shops and buy anything you might want or not. Spend your money! It doesn't depend on the amount, but you have to give Father Rulae every single goldcoin you have left.

thanx alot, i sacraficed the money i had left over from buying all kinds of stuff, and i went to the fountain, and got cured. thanks again and again and again

i drank from the fountain, and my fighter's disease was cured, but he is still insane, and i drank repeatedly from that fountain, the holy sacrament fountain, and the fountain in the beginner dungeon, and i rested so many times, but he is still insane, do i need the sane spell or is there a potion i can purchase??

Is the spell you need. Now that you know how to cure disease, you could go back to a previous saved game, before all of the other afflications started happening (from being diseased) and drink right away.

Other than that, a lot of rest of Sane Mind (Psionic spell).

As soon as a priest/monk gets Sane Mind, use the spell then rest him. He will stay locked at maximum craziness until someone casts the spell. I think my guy may have been cured by a Psionic Blast that drove him "crazy beyond the maximum" and reset the counter to a number that was below maximum craziness.

My experience, and that of one other board member, has been that if a character goes crazy from disease, that's ti. No amount of spell casting/potions/fountains will cure him/her. Go backed to a pre-insane save and start from there.

Try to pick it up with priest - some reason priest don't get any thing bad
