Are there any maps available that show the location of the 5 flowers? i have found the blue and yellow ones, but the rest elude me.Also, My female faerie mage has been equipped with the Diamond Ring ever since I professed my love to Rebecca in Bane, and now that she's level 11, I finally noticed that it has a special power which I can invoke and it's letting me do it seemingly to infinity. I stopped because I felt guilty that my faerie mage had far more hit points than anyone else in my party. Is that supposed to happen or did I stumble into a positive bug?
The Diamond Ring has 10 charges to increase your HP, and each invoke makes it lose one charge. Invoke it ten times, and you lose the ring. You can also use it to scratch open the windows in the City of Sky to get all the best items, not just opening one window with the consumable Light Key. Each scratch also causes it to lose a charge.
I've seen some posts of people claiming that the Diamond Ring can only be used to scratch the City of Sky windows once, and I can pretty much guess they simply invoked it one less time than needed to lose the item (9), then used it once later at the City of Sky and lost it, making them erroneously think that they could only scratch with it once.
Basically, invoke it six times on your character(s), save three for the window scratching, and the last charge will keep it around so you can continue to equip it.
Strange, huh? I'm not sure why it says that either. If you want to check, you can download a Diamond Ring Wizardry VI savegame from my site here:http://www.geocities.com/grieversnr/wiz6saves.zip
Unzip Savegame.Bel, the "Go with Bela"/"Good" ending from Wizardry VI, import the game in Wizardry VII, and you can invoke the ring ten times. Maybe charges means something else?
