fellow WizardryŽ VI Bane of the Cosmic ForgeŠ fans:

first off i would like to thank rbrown and all of the hard work he put into constructing "a fairly comprehensive list of the items in Wiz 6" and "a few GWbasic programs used to extract/compare item information from Wiz 6 saved games" (quotes taken from softwarespecialties.com). secondly, i would like to thank Joebob for spending countless hours researching (i guess you could call it playing ) Bane by locating the hard to find, exclusive items.

by using rbrown's work as a starting point and Joebob's work to fill in the holes, i have been able to locate the bane item data in the scenario.dbs file and translate it into the 8 required bytes.

the file is located here, for your viewing and editing pleasure.

and for those of you who are hexidecimally challenged, i am incorporating the ability to add and remove items into BaneEditŠ - WizardryŽ VI Bane of the Cosmic ForgeŠ Character Editor.

hey john, i love your site. it was a big help to me when i was racing though the earlier wizardrys a few years ago. (ps - i remember when your site was hosted on aol... was it... ah yes... members.aol.com/analander, right? )

anyway, from what i can see, your list isn't missing any items. i believe, however, that some of the properties are missing - but my WizardryŽ VI Bane of the Cosmic ForgeŠ Item Viewer should help you fill in the blanks. (just putting the finishing touches on it now)
