I found a wine bottle and a character picked it up. But now it doesn't show up on his inventory list unless he's selling stuff to NPCs. I have a feeling this might be important later. How can I get it back onto his list?

(The same thing happened when one character bought too many items and had more than ten overall, so the extras disappeared, except when selling. But that wasn't such a big deal. Should I just sell the wine bottle and then buy it back from an NPC immediately?)

On that same note, do rutebaga serve any purpose?

I think you put a note in the bottle and a cork, then drop it in the river ?

I seem to have lost my official Bane Hint Book... but I think the rutabega, or whatever, was just food for replenishing hitpoints, stamina or spell points.

The Wine Bottle probably disappeared into the swag bag. Enter the character screen and choose SWAG to open the bag.
