i recently finished w7cds and wanted to play through w6bcf and import to w7cds. i noticed rolling a nice bonus in w6 is much harder than rolling a decent one in w7. so i did the american thing and looked for an easier way to get the roll i wanted. naturally, i looked for an editor and found a very nice one by mad dog. (*Cosmic Forge* v 1.65) the problem arises from trying to enable the patch to change the character attribute bonus algorithm. i get a "failure to change/restore the algorithm, please contact the author" message. i tried running the game while turning the algorithm on, tried turning the algorithm on while the game is not running, i've set my installation path to the directory the game's files resides in, and i've tried reading every ounce of info from posts i could to see if another user was having the same issues. i hope someone can help or maybe 'ol mad dog can give me some guidance. thanks in advance.
