"Reordering the Roster"

Posted by James (Guest) on Feb-10-04 at 07:01 PM
Hey guys...

When I play Wizardry, I like for all my characters to be on the roster in the exact order I intend for them to be placed into the party. That way when I go to Gilgamesh's, I just have to press keys in a sequental order (ABCDEF) to add them (and moreover, so they won't be jumbled if I have to quit while in
the maze).

But every time I create a new character or set of characters, invariably this order gets jumbled up. I was wondering if there was a program I could use which would allow me to re-order the roster and avoid this problem?

Thanks in advance.

You can use certain text editors, that support hex editing, to cut and paste them around ... make a back up first though
Tools for Wizardry(r) 7

I also regretted the fact that you can't reorder the roster. Like Llevram said, hex editing is probably your best bet, since no one has released any programs for this. Sorry.

As far as I know, the only version of Wizardry that allows you to reorder the roster is the Wonderswan version.

Story of Llylgamyn for SNES does as well.
