Original Message"Key Items"

Hi all,
I've come across a few items in secret rooms along the way, such as a silver key and a statue. They are odd, key items or so it would seem. Is any of this stuff important, or should I simply discard it?

Oh it is important, to get down to level 4, you need the Bear Statue. to get the bear statue, you need both silver and gold keys, and to get those... well you get the idea honestly, the only requirement, actually, you don't "Need" them, much the same way you don't need armor or weapons. Malor will get you to where you need to be, without the items, but many just find it easier to take the express way, "going down?"; to get that, you need only 1 obvious item (you will know when you get it) if you wish to free up inventory, make a junk character (like bishop, since they can identify stuff), and give them all that stuff. then leave him at the tavern. if you wish to see why you need those items, just give them to the bishop and explore the first 4 levels, completely.

Thanks for the insight. I was beginning to think the items were useless. That's a great idea about the Bishop too, thanks again.

and, should the bishop have to many cursed items (either pronunciation), you can always dump him and create another one (saving those key items) glad to be of help You are only as brave as the challenges you take on
