Playing the UWA version of Wiz 1 after quite a few years and am having a blast. But after killing a group of monsters, the messages go by so fast that I can't see them. I tried setting the rate to a 1 (by using the T command when in the maze) but that doesn't seem to have any effect. Anyone have a solution for me?

Try using Mo'Slo and slowing down your processor.
