I am wondering if there is a site to download wiz 1 for the IBM. I am not interested in 2-7 and therefore do not want to buy the archives. Anyone know a site?

There is no site, that I know of. If there was one, they would be in direct violation of copyright.As Interplay(tm) owns the rights to the first 7 Wizardrys. It is not listed as abandonware anymore.
You can check out Ebay, for a old copy that someone is trying to get rid of. The prices are very reasonable. Heck, you could even get the UWA for really cheap too.
I have seen the Archives sold for under $10 before. I cannot believe that you aren't interested in the rest of the Wizardys. They just got better with age.

The reason he isn't interested in the other Wizardrys is that other than 1,6 and 7, they all suck. 2,3,4,5 are pretty boring games. I just replayed KOD recently and was amazed at how bad it was.
