Hi all,

Normally I wouldn't post about another forum, but unfortunately it looks like a bunch of kids have taken over the Wizardry forum at gamefaqs (http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/gentopic.php?board=24591) and won't allow any Wizardry discussion there. I'm probably the only person on the board who's even played the game. When I posted a topic 3 or 4 days ago, my response was something like "wtf I own this board you can't post here unless I say so wtf". When I tried re-asking the question, the kid told me that nobody plays the game anymore.

I'm hoping some of you can find time to generate some real Wizardry discussion over there, and hopefully chase out the kids (or at least let them see that people play the game). By no means am I trying to steal people from this forum, but I just hate to see a perfectly good public forum on a popular gaming site get turned to junk.

When I say "kids", I'm not speaking metaphorically... they post each other about high-school football and homecoming and junk like that.

Again, I don't want to steal people away from this forum; I think it's a very good and active forum.

Leave that forum where no one discusses Wizardry, and stick with ones that do.

one thing you can do, is click "message detail" and report the post. this gets them anything from a warning, to a complete banning, once a mod sees it, and decides what to do.
only the Wizardry 1 board is taken over, Wiz 2 and 5 boards are still clean, and as for Wizardry III, empty.
As Llevram stated, it's much easier to go elsewhere, than to deal with nincompoops.
