I am imppressed! I didn't think anyone still played on their apples. I wish I had mine still. But it was the lack of game support that turned me to the PC. Yesterday while cleaning out the basement I "found" my archives copy again. I never finished it. I am planning to play it again. Maybe this time finish it. I got discouraged in one of the blind areas of the first Wizardry. I used to have some maps of the 1st game. If anyone still has them could they post a url for them? thanks

Thanks for the maps! They will be a big help. I hate to sound greedy, but by any chance have you any of the other game maps?

Thank you for all the great links! I will be making maps most of the day now. I started to play Wiz gold yesterday. How different the interface is compared to todays games. Still there is nothing like a Game of Wizardry. By the way How did/do you like Drakken? I was tempted to buy it but was waiting to read some reviews first. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks again for the map links. Oh and just so you can appreciate where you live, it is -4 degrees this morning.

Since we are all here, and probaby fairly diverse in our gaming tastes, this could be a great place to start a forum, just for game reviews. If others think so and it seems we have enough interest, we'll do it. And with the rating system, reviews can be rated, so we can see if the general populace agrees or not.

I think this is a great idea! A seperate forum to list and review the games we are now or have played recently. If you have seen the Deathlands site that idea would fit right in. Besides we all know we are playing other games in the wait period. Why not share our experiences? The only good orc is a dead Orc.

I might have this all wrong but..... I think it means to "beseech" (to ask) for resurrection. If it does not work I think the PC becomes "Ashened" (sp?) or irretrievable.Been a loooonnnng time since I played that game.

I know the names but I have never had the guts to actually cast them. (I did have to look up the definitions)I developed a technique with the write protect tab to do the equivalent of Quit-No Save and so I avoided Kadorto. Don't you lose a vitality with kadorto?

Hello,http://www.tk421.net/wizardry/spells/
Has spell descriptions for Wiz 1-5, including the Mahaman choices. As I recall, Kadorto and definately Di lowered vitality by 1.
Cheers,

In Wiz 1 for the apple if you have an Evil party have one of them carry the Lord's Garb, they can't equip it but they can carry it and get the regen effect. And more so, friendly monster groups will encounter the party, which is almost never with out it. If you let them live the character holding the Lord's Garb becomes good.
