*rolls eyes*

Hey Rick and Marc...are there settings to hold messages in a queue until you can view them to delete them. Not thinking about the people that post here frequently, but the SPAMMERS?

Just thinking that would stop us from looking and reading the SPAM sandwiches. Just my two cents?

That would be work on our part, to approve every message. I've been adding their IP addresses to the "bad" list and deleting the posts as they show up (and I see them) ...

We'll see how it goes ..

Yeah...I know it is alot of work. I do notice that you see the SPAM and delete. By the way, you can delete this thread now.

I have a feeling that a bot has found our address and is continuing to hit the site through whoever's-computer-they -manage-to-commandeer to do their dirty work. I doubt the perpetrator(s) even know they have hit this site unless someone clicks on one of the links.

I have been adding to the bad IP list as well.

... we can do a couple things:

1) require that users login before posting
2) moderate the forum (admin has to approve post before it becomes "public")

I'm not real thrilled with either option. We'll see how it goes ...

Now instead up spam, they are sending jokes ... so, I've made this forum moderated for a while ... this one seems to be the only one they are targeting. ... we'll see how that goes ...
