"How to get Vi into Rapax Rift?"

Since I have used Vi for so long, she is well advanced and I would like her to join the group into Rapax Rift - but she won't go. If I go in and mark a spot - then hike back to Arnika, have her join the group and then teleport in - she will be with us. However, will she fight or just be there? Anybody know?

she is utterly useless.

besides whining like a little girl the whole time, like any char you do this to, she is "hexed". so her battle skills drop by 50% and she prolly ends up "accidentally" hitting your party more than the baddies.

leave her be.

Actually, I've found Vi to be an effective fighter, even in the rift. It drops skills significantly, but doesn't "hex" someone from everything I've seen. I've found with Vi through almost the entire rift and a small part of the courtyard without a single hit against my own chars.
You're right she is a whiny little girl the whole time, but she still is making a noticable significant positive contribution to my party.

you misunderstood.
vi doesn't "hex" anybody.

whenever ANYONE is forced to go where they don't want to, the game puts the "Hex" spell on them until you release them.

it's prolly less noticeable for you, because you have pumped her up pretty high, but try it with madras, like marmic suggests, and you may even see that some figures go into the red! definitely not good.

It's a big drop, too. I was getting set to go back to Bayjin to go through the Sea Caves, and I knew Vi would whine and complain the whole time. I also knew that she'd complain about the Rift, which was the next area I was going to after the Caves, so, what the hey...since she's not likely to be along anyway, I figured, I'd give the XPs and level to someone I might actually use in the Rift.

So, I pick up the Mook explorer. Cool, a 100 Int. Portal to Bayjin...*wham*. Down to an 80 Int. Drops in other areas. Hmm...well, be that way...I guess I really don't need you around...
