it's stated that banish works on demons, summoned creatures.. etc etc... how do we determine whether a creature belongs to that category??

instant kill spell, what's the use of the power level? does hogher power equates to better chance of success??

by right klicking on a creature it shows you if its summoned. you should know when a demon is in front of you

i guess the power level of instant death or death wish is just calculated versus the resistance of the target creature

if instance death is calculated against the resistance.. what's with the power level? so what's the diff if i cast it at level 1 vs level 7?

i guess the power level you spell the spell on decreases the targets resistance. i dont have formulas for this, but when spelled in lvl 7 it works more often than in lvl 1

Concerning Banish, I'd like to know how much damage PPL it's supposed to do. I notice that Banish doesn't work like Dispel magic usually does, it just racks up varying amounts of damage.

Braindeath spells depend quite a bit on the power level of the cast. Death spells have a higher chance to kill higher level monsters if cast at a higher level. Also, spell power levels seem to have a higher chance to override monster resistances (like divine resistance in the case of death or deathwish).
