"Do you think this game is balanced?"

Generally speaking, I've been very impressed with the balance of Wizardry 8 until now.
I'm level 14, have solved the shaman puzzle, aligned with the mook and so on.
I haven't cleared the SE citadel, some of the Rapax areas or Bayjin (anything more than a eight rapax at once cause me problems, as do a bunch of the reijin ...).

So, for a while I was just lost. I could get okay experience from the occasional savant beserker battle, but am slowed down heavily otherwise.
The Northern Wilderness dungeon is now a great source of XP for me, but if I didn't know about it, I'd be seeing some serious balance issues in trying to get strong enough to kill the creatures I can't yet.

Anyone else have similar problems?
(my party is well balanced, its only by sheer numbers that most things were giving me problems)

northern wilderness dungeon ???

well, if its too hard, just change to easy difficulty. its not the monster hacking what makes this game a nice one. its the story and stuff. i personally think thats a bit too easy. monsters are ok when playing normal, but the characters are not balanced. for example : i didnt find a real use for my ninja in the game, while my samurai just kicks a** (guess, iam not allowed to write that word, eh? )
