What kinds of miracles can you get? I have seen guardian angel and blessing. What influences the chance of success? How often can you use them - once per combat?

Yep, only once per combat. I have seen it kill whole groups of monsters to healing a party member or two. I think it is pretty cool to have, but I don't know if it is a necessity to the game.
