"Arnika"

Posted by Kirk (Guest) on Oct-15-03 at 05:10 PM
Im pretty sure ive searched the entire town of Arnika. I have found no clues about where to find the metal sphere. My only "white" journal entry about Arnika is that the tower has a powerful item in it. I cant gain access to the tower cause I cant find an entrance. I havent even gotten a quest to find the metal sphere. I only know I need it from reading these boards. Help!...Am I just suppose to head away from town into the wilderness and explore? I wasnt sure if this game directs you from area to new area. Looking around blindly seemed dangerous and I didnt want to head to a new area before finishing Arnika.

Spoil me and tell me where to go next please! I have the black box but its busted.

You have to trust your instincts, and when you feel you have done it all, press on. You will find the sphere elsewhere, if you remain as diligent as you were here.

I don't think there are any quests you can "break" by not getting or finding the item at the "right time".

If you walk into a new area, and the monsters kill everybody in the first fight, you shouldn't be there. If they only kill half your crew, you should be OK. Save often.

Don't walk down the middle of the road. Don't be afraid to be afraid. Retreat is an option. Hogars don't see very well but they have good hearing.

I appreciate the responses. I would ask one more favor please. Point me in the right direction. Ive headed to Trynton and am battling in that area. Just give me a nod if thats where I need to be cause I am dodging Hogars and its a hassle. Would hate to be wasting my time in the wrong area.

Thanks!

Kirk

You're doing fine. Did you do the cemetary?

You only have two routes To Trynton is often the chosen route (*nod*). And don't worry, there is no "wrong way". If you find you are getting in over your head, chalk it up to experience and explore another path.

I did some fighting in Trynton just past where you zone in at. Didnt explore allot cause Hogars were bushwacking me. I left and entered the Cemetary. I killed the mummy and checked what I think is the center building. Had a corpse hanging over lava. Im not sure if I explored it all yet. Guess Ill explore all the area outside Trynton and then try Trynton again.

Thanks for the push in the right direction. I can see now that this rpg is not so linear and it requires some probing actions and a little exploration.

Thanks a ton.

At the spaceport, you should've gotten a message "Bobo will love it."

From what you say, you're on the right track. Just be assertive, you'll find it. ;)
