I have a Faerie ninja in my party, and I just realized from message boards and such that the Cane of Corpus is one handed. I looked and figure that the best 2nd hand wand or staff is the Rod of Sprites and have seen a hint that the rod is located on Ascension Peak? Is that true, and if so can someone tell me how hard it is to get there so I can find out if I can make a run for it?

The rod of sprites is a random drop from high level sprites. They hang out in the mountain wilderness and ascension peak.
