I downloaded a saved game so that I could start by playing with a T'Rang alliance. Everything worked well. I started off in Marten's Bluff and had to actually escape there because I wasn't a high enough level to tackle the swamp.

I used the T'Rang teleporter to get me outside of Arnika and ran all the way there figuring I could start building my guys up and then go back toward the Swamp.

Nope.

What do I find in Arnika? 3 level 21 Androids! And those suckers just did not want to leave me alone. They killed off plenty of Higardi Patrols and Brotherhood members before I escaped.

Have you been saving level-ups ? That is the usual cause of the Slasher/Minion problem.

Nope. I was just a wee lad when I walked into Arnika and found 3 of the level 21 Trooper Dudes. They killed the Arnika guard very quickly (whom I was trying to use as cannon fodder while I picked them off from a distance) and then came for me. Suffice it to say I didn't last long at the minimum level that I was.
