up on the mountian where you get ras81 there is a gate you can not open ...... not the one you go thru to get the trang but the other one is there a way to open and is there any point to it or is it a closed quest ? ..... thank you in advance

You will have to procede along further. There is a way to open that gate but not from that side.

You have to fiddle with some knobs and use mass transit to get to the other side of the gate.

Riding the Mine Cart you end up, depending on which way you have the switches set, will end you up in a few different places ... one of those is behind that grate, another behind a high door, another is the way into Lower Martens Bluff.
