"Building up Party members"

Can anyone give a good address that gives best way to build up each party member. I'm not sure I've built up certain members in my party the best way, especially the NJ. Thanks.

go here:

Go to the wizardry 8 forum and at the top you will see Atlus7's
spotlight series. He does not cover all classes, but most of them.

I think they have the ones he posted on IGN boards. He has made a few adjustments and added a couple for the alternate Spydahs Web.

"Monastery"

Just the "usuals" in the Monastery:

Shield, Stealth, Reflection: shields up, and let seekers spit at you. damage is quite low (but don't let them run unattended for to long!) There are always seekers to be found in the pool room.
Keep a few "Stamina" spells ready to refresh the poor seekers..

Magic, and Iron Will: Smelly coffin, casting Heal and (if you have) Cure light cond. Cast buffing spells after resting. I often return later for a few points in Iron Will.

Don't kill immediately - rather, get battle under control - wither the enemy down to 1 or 2, protect weak members by position or guardian angel. Then - start to train: spells, weapons, whatever. You can heal the enemy to prolong his martyrium. Use spells / weapons that are ineffective (e.g. fireball against scorchers), to make it even worse. Piercer Mordais make good training targets for quite some time (once you have a good armorplate).
