I have just entered the fort on Marten's Bluff and found the lift that goes down but how do I open the other glass doors (not the one that you first come thru).

Go around to the side of the fort, and you will see some catapults. You then should click on it to ready it, and then click to fire it. You will be able to walk up the catapult over the castle wall and open the glass door.
