"Crock"

Okay, so my bard was releiving Crock of some of his..erm...unnecissary items...and Crocky caught me, so I decided 'What the heck? Kill `im and check out his house, then go back to my save if it isn`t worth it.' So that`s just what I did. when I got up to his room, I was looking out the window and 5 Oozites ((One group of 3 and one group of 2)) attacked. Oddly, they didn`t run off but went right up to the wall where my valkyrie, ranger, and ninja conveniantly killed them off. After the fight four of my eight people leveled up. Right now I`m wondering if it was worth killing Crock for his items and the experiance or not?

Oh, and I did all this before getting Marten`s Idol and Words. Since Crock kidnaps a person when I get the Idol, what`ll happen when I get it if Crock`s dead?

Killing Croc has pluses and minuses. On the plus side you no longer have to fear being kidnapped by him after acquirung the idol. Onthe minus side the rescue quest nets you 75000 expeach and Croc is onr of the major suppliers of 4th and 5th level spellbooks. my advice take the levelups and exp and leave the bugger dead.

Crock also sells items that a gadgeteer would find useful, as well as some of the better ammunition to be found. These are the only two reasons I can think of for keeping him around.
