Does anyone know where I can get the hint book. It is out of print and I've tried Ebay and Amazon with no luck.

Thanks

For 8 I am not sure if there is one. But if you need that much help try thr followong. Use the search option at the top of this board. When the screen comes up type in the word WALKTHROUGH. At the bottom of the screen check the box search archives. Start the search. What this will do is bring up lots of threads with links to fansites with maps and complete walkthroughs of the various areas of the game. Goof luck and good traveling on the wonferful of Dominus.

I have never seen the hint book, but some people that have say it isn't very useful. Just ask us, we know everything.

The book is by Mark H. Walker, published by Sybex.
ISBN 0-7821-2466-6
19.99 US
29.95 Can
14.99 UK

Try www.sybexgames.com or www.sybex.com. They are listed on the cover. I got it for Christmas with my copy of Wiz8.

I am not sure what the actual title is but try

Wizardry 8 Official Strategies & Secrets.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I much prefer the Wiz 7 book. It is really a walk through rather than a hint book. It does list most of the things the alchemist and gadgeteer can combine and where all of the gadgets are found. It does not mention the bonus dungeons. It does not have the detailed item and monster tables that the Wiz7 book had although it does list most of the items and monsters and NPCs.

.. no need to look for it at Sybex. They point to you Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, etc. to buy it ... but none of them have it anymore.

Ebay is you best bet.
