I hear people talking about random chests and drops. I do not know what is ment by this. Are certain chests special and if so where are these special chests? What is a drop?

...in the chests. When you enter an area with a random chest in it, the contents of the chests are determined at that point with with "X" probability that "X" item will show up. A Davey Jones locker thing.When a beast is dispatched they will often "drop" an item.
