Others have noted that Bela will pay off (6000 gp; 300,000 exp) for the diamond ring. I happened to have four of them (I did not use an editor, Bane has an “undocumented feature”) and Bela was happy to see each and every one of them. Nice bit of “free” experience.

In Wizardry 6, "Bane of the cosmic Forge", you can get a diamond ring from a vampire mistress, if you tell her something nice ("I love you" or something like that). Hmmm, usually it's the other way round: Men react like that to make women say nice things...

Titus, my memory is failing: Where do you get four rings from? I think one is from the Bane-King and one from Rebecca, but the other two?

And why didn't you used them in "Sky City" to get all the Über-Weapons?

The Diamond Rings are all from Rebecca. To get a lot of them, see
<http://www.softwarespecialties.com/wizfaq_index.html> and then press Wiz 6. I got 16 of them, needed 3 of them in the City of Sky and now in Wiz 8, each of my 3 girls are wearing 2 of them and I can sell the last 7 to Bela ( I hope, I don't need them in Wiz 9 ).

That is how I did it.

I forget how many I recived, I just stopped when I got bored. I sold most of them in Wiz 7. I did not know that you could wear two at a time in Wiz 8.

Just a note, don't sell them to Bela, "give" them to him. Also, once you can buy an amulet of healing, the diamond ring is second-rate. I'd give them all to Bela.

Can you please give us the Ring's stats? They're not that good anymore in Wiz8? Didn't they have AC-4 (the lower the better) or something like that in Wiz7?
