"My Current Party"

4 Ninjas 2 Bishops - mass criticals, use thrown weapons when I can for ranged combat (auto penetrate ) - and humongous spellpower. Plus they all level at the same time.

Currently Level 14 and the amount of criticals I get is disgusting. Hogars (including battering) never last past 2nd round - someone always gets a crit on em. I get lots of crits on Rattkin & Juggernauts even. Between my 2 Bishops it won't be long now before I will have all 100 spells in the game (been buying hordes of books - each one has close to 50 spells now).

Nice to have a "kill'em all and let God sort'em out" party. For me, considering the amount of stuff there is, I'd go with a bard. Once you get the Drums of Haste going, your initative will be faster than all but the highest level monsters. This is the 1st rpg that I've played that, thanks to the gadgeteer, I don't have a mage. Variety is still the spice of life for me, but if I were to have two of the same class it would be ninjas and bards, wih a bishop and gadgeteer to round out the spells and long range killing. (A high level Omni gun can fire any ammo but rockets and shurikens. Very, very handy.) Right now I have a Liz fighter, Faerie ninja, Mook ranger (auto find anything is great), Hobbit bard, Elf bishop and Gnome gadgeteer. Rack'em baby.
